Remote Security Management
Remote Security Management

Many functions within companies are now regularly performed remotely, from banking through to meetings. With changing working patterns, more people working remotely and more flexible working hours, security solutions must adapt to the changing environment. Organisations can now leverage remote management services to maintain their security now and well into the future.
Southern and Northern Monitoring’s remote security monitoring services gives your customers a cost-effective way of managing their security remotely through a monitored video (CCTV system) should an intruder alarm be activated.
Our professional monitoring team will handle your customer alarms and evaluate the situation and confirm if an intrusion attempt has taken place, reducing the occurrence of false alarms which leads to faster Police response.

What is Remote Security Management?
Remote Security Management is a secure and cost-effective monitoring and management solution to secure your customer business premises 24/7.
A video camera with added intelligent video analysis software is the main component of the service.
A web connection transfers footages from the client's cameras to remote screens located at Southern and Northern Monitoring. If an event is detected, our monitoring centre is alerted.
A Southern and Northern Monitoring Alarm Operator will handle received video alarms alerts and evaluate what is happening on-site using LIVE footage.
Our operative will respond to the footage according to client requirements even reporting the incident to the police if required.
The solution can be extended with normal cameras, both internally and externally.
