Internet outage caused by data centre fire impacting

You may have heard that there are significant internet outages across many parts of the country at the moment due to a fire in a data centre. This has impacted numerous ISPs and is currently impacting our telephony.


Smart Test calls for fire tests are unaffected, the automated system is operating normally, please use 0844 871 2228 for this automated system.


We have invoked Disaster recovery procedures and have outbound coverage but inbound telephony on our main line is severely restricted, we are working to get this up and running as soon as possible.
