Lone worker - what does that mean to you?

What sort of service would you expect with lone worker products? For most people the image of lone worker is someone at risk who requires support from the emergency services when a bespoke device is operated. That is an accurate description where there is a need for BS8484 emergency response, but just like with intruder alarms there isn’t always a need for the emergency services.
