Hello Again,
In today’s cut and thrust of a competitive marketplace where we see Company growth being achieved through acquisition, it is often found that the acquirer rarely has the correct infrastructure to support the businesses it acquires.
Some remodel the business into their own, bringing their own values and levels of service, which often bear no resemblance to the business they have bought. Indeed it is the personal levels of service and attention to detail that have served the acquired Company well over the years, so much so it has brought it to a point where it became interesting acquisition.
Some acquire and leave the business running under its well known local name, only introducing cost saving benefits in the form of centralising business administration functions, in essence leaving the business running as a successful sales branch with it’s own identity.
The old adage that “big isn’t necessarily beautiful” has been recognised by many global enterprises who look to maximise on their acquisitions revenues whilst minimising the attrition, by continuing to support and invest in the brand name they have bought.
However, some brand names are so big that they think their brand should hold them in good stead for marketing and promotional activity aimed at undermining the traditional suppliers in the marketplace. Our industry fortunately appreciates that much business is done at personal levels, between real people who care about one another’s businesses. These are companies who trade together because there is more to it than just price; it comes down to levels of service and relationships. They know that anyone can do something for nothing, but not for very long!
That is why we take the time to get to know your business and the people in it, by enjoying your company on a social level, most recently at the Tall Ships on the Solent, the video stream of which can be viewed by clicking here and also this month at the Security Excellence Awards at The Hilton, Park Lane.
So if you’re not sure and you think your ARC is charging you too much, give us a call. We would be delighted to explain our long established customer services and business development campaigns!
Bye for now,
Steve
