Hello Again,
Who didn’t attend the Security Excellence awards at the Hilton Park Lane on the 10th October? Not many by all account, as the event even larger than ever boasted 760 guests on the night!
As the founder sponsor of the Security Excellence awards we are proud to be associated with such a prestigious event especially now it’s reached a 10 year milestone. It is involvement with such events and the people within our industry that makes SMS & NMS such different Companies to do business with and why we are still here after 25 years of providing 3rd party monitoring services.
In a marketplace where often the focus is on numbers and an impersonal service, we pride ourselves on putting some personality back into doing business by focusing on you and your business; we concentrate on what we can do to make our services as easy to use as possible.
You will always be able to contact any member of our team, you will always get a speedy response to your enquiry, we do not treat you as a number and furthermore we make sure that you are comfortable with our ongoing working relationship through the customer services dept. If you are finding that the levels of service you enjoy are deteriorating and you are unable to contact anyone, then please pick up the phone and give us a ring.
During this year we have noticed a marked swing on new connections toward dual path signalling systems, especially those suppliers with the ability to grade shift the connection to meet insurer requirements or any future demands of the client post installation. As we move into 2009 I suspect we will start to see several suppliers launching grade shift products and therefore competition between them should start to hot up, hopefully putting a check on any further price increases from some network suppliers such as we experienced in April this year.
As installers you should most definitely ensure that your new signalling systems are BT21CN compliant, otherwise there could be expensive repercussions on a failure to communicate with the ARC. Suppliers are incentivising an active swap out campaign for old communicators to new dual path BT21CN compliant signalling systems, so take up these incentives now, for sure they will not be available when the problems actually hit home in the future.
If you want to know more about our upgrade campaigns contact our sales dept at SMS or NMS.
Bye for now,
Steve
