March 2009

Hello Again,

As times get harder and the lack of new sales starts to bite, the last thing anyone needs is price increases especially as network suppliers are price freezing or reducing charges.

Along with several large car manufacturers it appears that one of our competitors has decided to increase their prices, yet again. Although unlike the car manufacturers they do not seem to be blaming the weakness of the Pound against the Euro. I am unsure if they are struggling financially, but to date they have not announced they are closing down for a week to save further costs!

The price increases I am told vary depending on whether the installer is in an existing contract or outside contracted terms, if as I suspect the line rentals and monitoring are bundled it will reflect an increase across signalling network charges as well.

If you find you are being asked to pay more, please feel free to give us a ring, we will probably be able to save you well in excess of 5% whether you are in an existing contract or not..

CSL DualCom have made an announcement regarding price freezing it’s products to ARC’s for 3 years until 2012, in this economic downturn that has got to be good news.

CSL are also launching in May DigiPlus, a new product that will ensure continued service on all the old legacy dialler systems and at the same time neutralize the emotive issues of surcharging by some telecom suppliers for the use of 0870 and 0844 numbers and the practice of some ARC’s who still use premium rate 0906 numbers.

DigiPlus converts your dialler into a 300 baud modem and delivers the alarm via the Gemini DualCom network, the calls being free on 0800 and free polling, even for all those old BS4737 systems. You can therefore stop worrying about BT21CN as the solution will soon be available in May and you will never have to re chip again.

Additionally, Emizon have reduced their costs to the ARC’s and we are passing on these savings to our customers, there are significant reductions on 1st & 2nd year costs especially for G3 & G4 connections.

We are also taking connections for the new Risco Freecom dual path signalling system.

SMS & NMS will continue to provide services at extremely competitive rates and remember with us you get two ARC’s and two RVRC’s for the price of one! For further details on any of the products listed above contact our sales or customer service managers.

Bye for now,

Steve
