June 2008
Hello Again,
The amount of hits on our website to view our recent Whats in a signal? seminar has been phenomenal. The resulting sales enquiries have far exceeded our expectations and the sales teams are busily converting customers to Southern & Northern Monitoring Services. For those who have not yet gone online the video stream is still available...click here.
During April Northern Monitoring Services was inspected to the new BS5979 2007 Standard and has passed with flying colours. The new purpose built centre in Altrincham near Manchester provides complete redundancy for all the monitoring and telephony services at Southern Monitoring and conversely for Northern Monitoring. The Company now provides all its services in a virtual ARC / RVRC environment with alarms and phone calls being presented to operators in either centre.
CCTV activations, including BS8418 systems, are presented to Security Authority Licensed operators at either location in conjunction with the normal security or fire signalling systems, thereby giving the operator total control over all the signalling systems on a site.
It would appear the monitoring marketplace is quite volatile at the moment; we put this down to successive price increases from some ARCs and also restructuring due to acquisition, which has affected service levels within our competitors. So installers appear to be reviewing their long standing trading relationships, much to the delight of our sales teams because the levels of sales activity has never been so healthy!
Our existing customers are also reviewing their signalling options and re evaluating which products to move forward with for new business. At the same time they are engaging with us on upgrade campaigns to convert digital communicators to dual path signalling systems at the same time increasing their recurring revenue streams and earning commission from us, as well as the network supplier.
We pride ourselves in not only the services we provide but also the way we provide those services, through investment in proper robust networking solutions that provide contingency across both our centres on a continuous basis. When taking this into account along with our very competitive prices and upgrade campaigns, we believe we provide the best service at the best prices. Why not give us a call and see what you get for your money?

Bye for now,
Steve
