Hello Again,
In last months Connections I mentioned that RedCare had terminated their contract with all the ARC’s as of 31st March and a new contract had been offered to the industry. It was apparent that some ARC’s took the conscious decision not to sign the new contract and would probably change their preference for receiving dual path signalling systems in conjunction with an increase on existing RedCare line rentals to installers. As predicted we have seen RedCare price increases in the marketplace from some ARC’s.
At Southern & Northern Monitoring I explained we had embraced the changes enthusiastically and would continue to provide competitive prices for the RedCare product range, so there would be no price increases from us.
In addition to the competitive prices we also are pleased to announce that we now monitor the new Grade 2 dual path signalling system BT Agile as launched at IFSEC. To supplement the product awareness courses given by RedCare at IFSEC we are holding product and technical training seminars at Southern & Northern Monitoring Services during July, details of which will be with you shortly. It is our intention to link these seminars to our website so those who cannot make it will be able to go online to view the presentations.
To support our sales activity I am pleased to announce that we have recruited Rod Wilson from BT RedCare to head up our Fire sales activities, his contact details are rodw@southernmonitoring.co.uk (07718 980554). Additionally, joining from BT RedCare is Paul Cooper who heads up Security sales paulc@southernmonitoring.co.uk (07718 980555) both of whom will be in touch soon about our products, services and campaigns. Rod and Paul are well known to the Fire & Security Industry with a strong Fire & Security monitoring background.
