February 2007
Hello Again,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the Fire & Security Association (FSA), a specialist group within the operating framework of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA).
This exciting and dynamic group of Fire & Security companies represents all sizes of operation from a local supplier to very largest national organization. The group, which is a broad church of Fire & Security specialists all have one thing in common, working to the exacting British and European Standards - assessed by recognized independent external accreditation bodies.
The FSA is dedicated to maintaining and improving industry standards by discussion and representation, the concept is one of nurturing companies through an evolutionary development of their business and the continued development of companies through coaching and mentoring. This will be facilitated through a structured approach to systems installations based around British and European Standards along with business development courses and opportunities.
The FSA group will benefit from the established ECA platform which will enable new members to take advantage of additional gain, over and above that of a Trade Associations ordinary function.
FSA specialists will not only be offered the usual service delivery mechanism from a Trade Association such as lobbying, guidance, developing Standards, marketing/PR and research, which of course benefits you from an industry perspective…but the FSA focus on your individual needs as well.
Choose from the many benefit packages including BUPA, Death and Disability Insurance, Sickness Insurance, savings in holiday National Insurance contributions and even a rebate on scheme payments…that is not all. In addition there is access to internal support facilities covering Contract Law, Employment Law, education & training, health & safety, plus environmental legislation, even a Warranty Bond scheme to protect the client.
In summary, the FSA is an exciting new development for the Fire and Security electronic systems marketplace, providing an environment for companies of all shapes and sizes to be represented as probably THE voice within in the electronic systems Industry.
As a sales incentive SMS & NMS are offering to pay the 1st year’s membership fees of the FSA, for those Installers who complete a conversion of at least 100 connections by 30th September 2007.
It’s a win, win offer!
Bye for now,
Steve
